SOUND + MOVEMENT TRAIL / APP
The Hum guides users to a variety of locations around Colchester, each one the focus of interaction between the public and the urban infrastructure. Upon arriving at a location users can listen through headphones to a soundtrack / narration describing and embellishing the everyday actions that take place in each particular place. Each narrator presents his or her idiosyncratic narrative that may be: personal, ironic, poetic, humorous or subversive.

Mark Titchner. SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT US
FIRSTSITE
Artist Mark Titchner explores the tensions between the different belief systems that inform our society, be they religious, scientific or political. In this exhibition, he presents a number of works exploring the notions of displacement and belonging in connection to migration and national identity, including large-scale posters developed with asylum seekers and refugees, as well as a new wall drawing based on the Colchester coat of arms.
